Your Deezer profile is the main area for the administration of your account. It is here that you can add a profile picture, make your profile private, connect with other users and even set your notification preferences.

Connecting to others with your profile
When you create your Deezer profile, you will be able to see all your curated and saved playlists. Better yet, if you have added friends to your profile, you have a range of features that will help you stay connected. By selecting your friends’ profiles, you will be able to see a compatibility rate based on your individual music tastes, discover new tracks based on your friends’ music tastes and even play music quizzes with them.
Note: It is not mandatory to share you profile details with friends. If you wish to keep this information private, you can set your profile to Private by following the steps below in the article.
How to change your profile picture
Fresh new look? Why not update your profile picture? Here’s how:
- Go to Settings
- Select Account Management
- Select your profile picture
- Select either Take photo or Choose another picture
- Take a photo or select a photo from your phone to use as your profile picture
- Go to Settings
- Select Account Management
- Select your profile picture

- Take a photo or select a photo from your phone to use as your profile picture
- Go to your profile
- Select Account settings
- Within the My information tab, hover over the profile picture and then select the camera

- Select a file from your computer to use as your profile picture
How to make your profile private
You can make your entire Deezer Profile private so that it is not visible to other users. Nobody will be able to see your music feed or your music library.
- Go to Settings
- Under Privacy settings, select Private profile
- Go to Settings
- Under Privacy settings, select Private profile

- Select Account Settings
- Select the Sharing preferences tab
