With cars becoming more technological all the time, inbuilt speakers and entertainment systems can now connect to Deezer so you can stream your favorite tracks whenever you are on the road. Great news for that road trip you have planned with your besties! Better still, there are also devices you can connect your car to which will also allow you to listen to your music. Below are the most popular apps and entertainment systems - so get connecting for your next journey!

Android Auto
The Android Auto app allows you to access Flow, all your playlists, mixes, favorite albums and favorite tracks directly from your dashboard on a selection of compatible Android Auto cars and stereos.
If your car is compatible, you can easily connect via a USB cable.
Once you've set up Android Auto, it should start automatically when you plug in your device.
Note: Your personalised Favourite Tracks cover is also displayed in the Library tabs of Android Auto and Waze, making it easier to recognise your music at a glance.
Note: With Android 6.2.12, you can now listen to any podcast, radio and music you've favorited and recently played
CarPlay
CarPlay lets you enjoy Deezer safely while you drive. Browse your music, podcasts and radio, or ask Siri to play your favourite songs—all from your car's built-in display.
With Deezer for iOS 8.23 or later, you can access your Library, including:
- Favourite tracks
- Albums
- Playlists
- Podcasts
- Radio
- Recently played content
- Downloaded music
- Flow and other personalised mixes
What's new on Apple CarPlay?
The latest version of the Deezer app makes browsing your Library and discovering music even easier.
Browse your Library
- Your favourite albums, playlists, and artists are sorted by the date you added them, making recent additions easier to find.
- Album cards now display the album title, artist name, and release year.
- Artist pages display albums in chronological order with clear year separators.
Discover more from your favourite artists
When viewing an artist, you can now:
- Play their most popular songs from the Top Tracks section.
- Find all the songs you've added to your Library in the In Your Favourites section.
Note: Deezer Free is now available to enjoy on CarPlay. You just need iOS 8.19 or later
Before getting started, make sure CarPlay is available in your country or regionand that your vehicle supports it. If your car is compatible, simply connect your iPhone using a USB cable (or wirelessly if supported by your vehicle).

Once CarPlay is set up, Deezer should launch automatically whenever you connect your iPhone.
Automotive OS
Automotive OS is an operating system unique to vehicles, powered by Google and allows you download the Deezer app directly to your car without needing to link other devices.
Note: Deezer Premium, Deezer Duo or Deezer Family is required when using Automotive OS

Waze
With the Waze app , you can enjoy the Deezer player inside the app. You can listen to your library on the road and access your Flow and recently played tracks. Available on iOS and Android, the app can be downloaded here.

FAQ
Does Deezer work in offline mode?
Currently, no, although CarPlay does include a ‘downloaded music’ section. This is a feature we are looking to study in more depth.
How do I use Siri to control CarPlay?
Depending on your car, there are two ways to use Siri to control CarPlay:
- Press and hold the voice-command button on your car's steering wheel or hold the CarPlay Dashboard or CarPlay home button on your touchscreen
Tip: Using a voice command, ask Siri to play general requests, listen to music and, depending on your country, listen to podcasts or radio
Is Deezer compatible with other car devices?
Yes, depending on the make and model of your car, Deezer is also supported with select models of Mini Cooper, Fiat and Jeep. Learn more here.
I am having trouble connecting with my car's entertainment system; how can I enjoy Deezer?
Depending on your car's age and model, it's worth trying to use CarPlay for iOS users.
If you have an Android device, you'll need the Android Auto app for these models.
Alternatively, you could try streaming via Bluetooth or a high-quality USB lead, provided you can use your device in a hands-free, safe manner.
Why are my Favorites not sorted alphabetically in CarPlay?
Currently, Favourite (artists, playlists, and albums) in CarPlay are displayed by the date they were added (by year), rather than alphabetically. This is expected behaviour and part of the current design
