How to launch music
You will see two types of Play buttons at the top of the page when you select an album, playlist, or your Favorite tracks.
The icon next to PLAY indicates what order the songs will play in:
- Consecutive : tracks are played one after another in the order tracks are displayed. This will apply to albums
Note: The order tracks are displayed includes any sorting applied, such as Recently added
- Shuffle : tracks are rearranged and played in a random order. This will apply to playlists and Favorites
Note: If you want to listen to playlists or Favorite tracks in consecutive order, you must select the first track in the list and then check that the Shuffle icon is not activated within the player
Note: Only paid subscribers can deactivate shuffle on all content on mobile. Deezer Free users can only deactivate shuffle on certain playlists. Learn more about the Deezer Free experience

When listening to music on desktop, music is launched in consecutive order by default.
- Select Listen to launch your album, playlist or Favorite tracks in consecutive order

Shuffle can be located on the right hand side within the player. A small dot will appear under the shuffle icon when it is active.
