Getting notified about the latest releases or tour dates from your favorite artists helps ensure you never miss important updates. Deezer offers different types of notifications, each working in a different way.

How Deezer notifications work
Deezer offers two types of notifications, and they work differently.
In-app Notification Centre
The Notification Centre (accessible via the in the Deezer app) displays personalized recommendations and updates based on your listening activity.
These notifications are automatically generated based on your listening activity and music preferences and cannot be enabled or disabled.
You may receive a notification about a new release when:
- Deezer identifies you as a fan of the artist based on your listening habits
- The artist is among your top 15 most-listened-to artists
- You have added the artist, one of their albums, or one of their tracks to your Favorites
Push notifications and emails
Push notifications and email notifications can be managed through your Deezer notification preferences.
To manage these notifications:
- Go to Account Settings > Notifications.
- Select or deselect the notifications you would like to receive.
To receive notifications about new releases from artists you follow, make sure Artists I Like is enabled in your Notification preferences page. When one of these artists releases new music, Deezer may send you an email or push notification.
If you would also like to receive notifications on your mobile device, make sure Deezer notifications are enabled in your phone's settings.
Note: These settings only affect email and push notifications. They do not affect notifications displayed in the Deezer Notification Centre.

How to see your notifications in your Notification Center
- Once you’ve favorited artists, select the notification bell
icon in the top-right of your screen to see a list of new releases from those artists. Notifications are limited to a maximum of 25.

Why is my Deezer Notification Center empty?
If you open your Notification Center and a message pops up prompting you to add more artists, this means you do not have enough artists favorited. You’ll need to add more artists to your library to start receiving new release notifications.
