Audiobooks are a great way of listening to contemporary and literary masterpieces, all from the comfort of, well, wherever you want! Maybe you want to listen to a book whilst driving on a long journey? Perhaps you want to hear the latest bestseller whilst you are working out at the gym? All of this is possible. Audiobooks on Deezer are primarily available to users in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria.

How to find audiobooks
- Go to the Explore tab
You will find the Audiobooks section by scrolling through the Experience rail at the top of the page
Note: In certain regions outside of Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria, you can still search the catalogue for titles and add them to your Favorites ; you just can’t find audiobooks within the Explore tab
How to search for audiobooks
- Go to Search
- Enter Audiobooks as a general search term or enter the title of the book or series
Tip: You can filter on search results by selecting the categories located under the search
How to favorite an author or publisher
You can follow an author or publisher to be informed about new audiobooks by them.
- Underneath an audiobook’s title, select the author, editor or publisher's name to go to their Artist page
- Select the heart icon
How to make a playlist for your audiobooks
Audiobooks are just like your music tracks and you can treat them the same. If you're not sure how to get started, see how to create a playlist.
- Go to the Search
- Enter the search term Audiobooks
- Go to Albums
- Select the audiobook album you want to add to your playlist
- Select the three dots menu at the top of the page
- Select Add to playlist
- Select the playlist you want
- Go to the Search
- Enter the search term Audiobooks
- Go to Albums
- Select the audiobook album you want to add to your playlist
- Select the three dots menu at the top of the page
- Select Add to playlist
- Select the playlist you want
- Go to the Search
- Enter the search term Audiobooks
- Go to Albums
- Select the audiobook album you want to add to your playlist
- Select the checkbox above the first track
This will select all the tracks and a three dots menu will appear
- Select the three dots menu
- Select Add to playlist
- Select the playlist you want
More books
Depending on your region, you can access the For book lovers collection, which includes poetry readings, literary interviews and discussions about new releases and classics.
Although some audiobooks are available in countries outside Germany, Netherlands and Austria, they can only be found using the search bar. Depending on the country, users may not have access to an audiobook or all of the content in the playlist.
