Requirements
To use Garmin with Deezer you must:
- Be using Android 5.0 or above
- Be using iOS 12.0 or above
- Have a Deezer Premium or Deezer Family subscription plan
- Have downloaded the Garmin Connect app
- Have Bluetooth headphones

Compatible devices
Garmin first included Deezer preloaded on its Forerunner 245 Music and Forerunner 945. All models produced after May 2019 now include Deezer preloaded and do not require users to download the app from the Garmin Connect Mobile store.

Content limits
You can have 100-250 songs.
Note: Playlists with more than 150 songs may result in problems syncing. If an error message appears notifying you that your device does not have sufficient storage space, please remove content to free up space
Note: At this time, it is not possible to listen to live radio or podcasts using Deezer
How to download Deezer on your Garmin watch
- Open the Garmin Connect app on your smartphone and tap the hamburger menu located in the top-left corner
Note: on iOS devices you will need to select More first
- Select Connect IQ Store
- Search for the Deezer app
- Select the app and download
Note: If you're having trouble setting up your watch, check that your device is connected to a charger and the battery isn't running low. Turn your Garmin's WiFi off and on and then try to sync again. If this doesn't work, please contact Garmin support
How to connect your Deezer account to Garmin
The steps below are for Garmin smartwatches with physical buttons. Steps vary for Garmin smartwatches that use a touchscreen.
- On your Garmin watch, after syncing, a message should appear informing you that a music provider has been added. Select OK to confirm
- Go to Manage settings
- Select Manage
- Select Music Providers
- Select Deezer
You'll be prompted to open the Garmin Connect app on your smartphone
- Select Next
- Follow the steps to sign in to your Deezer account
Note: Having multiple Garmin smartwatches paired to one account may cause issues with pairing and syncing. For steps on how to remove a Garmin device from the Garmin Connect app, click here
How to redeem Garmin gift vouchers
Once you've finished connecting your Deezer account with Garmin, you'll also be notified if you're eligible for any special offers.
- Go to the special offer gift page
- Enter the voucher code displayed on your Garmin
Note: If you're having trouble redeeming your offer, please double check you have entered your voucher code correctly. If you are still having issues, contact us
- Select Redeem
- Finally, enter your payment details
Note: At the end of the period, you'll automatically be charged for the monthly renewal of your subscription, unless you choose to cancel and revert back to Deezer Free
How to unlink your Deezer account from Garmin
- From your Garmin watch, go to Manage settings
- Select Manage
- Select Music Providers
- Select Deezer
- Select Options and then Log Out
- Select Yes
Once you successfully unlink your Deezer account, all previously stored music will be removed from your device.
How to download music to your Garmin
If you're new to Deezer, take a moment to add some songs to your Favorites and add some playlists to your account before you attempt to sync your Garmin
- From your Garmin watch, Go to Manage settings
- Select Manage
- Select Music Providers
- Select Deezer
- Select My Playlists to choose playlists you'd like to download
- Select START to select the playlists
- Select UP until you reach Done and then select START
- Select BACK until the Ready to sync? notification appears and confirm the sync
Note: If your Garmin stops syncing during the transfer process, it may be because the Wi-Fi connection has been lost. In that case, check the internet connection on your Garmin watch

If your playlists disappear from your Garmin watch, it may be because your Deezer subscription has expired or you've exceeded your limit on offline devices. Make sure your Garmin is charged and in range of your Wi-Fi network to verify your account status at least once every 15 days.
