An equalizer gives you the option to customize the level of some audio frequencies for music.
Note: There will only be an equalizer option if your device has one built into it
You can turn it on by following the instructions below:
- Within the player, select the Audio output icon
- Select Equalizer
- Select the configuration of your choice
Note: Once activated, the equalizer will be set to the item chosen last
How to use a preset equalizer option
The Deezer app is preset with an extensive range of different preset equalizer options. You can also make your own preset.
- Once you have activated the Equalizer, within the Equalizer, select Equalizer
Note: The default option will be displayed
- Select from the options: Pop, Classical, Jazz, Rock or Custom
Note: You can change each frequency within an option by sliding the dials up and down
What sounds good with one song may not with the next, so don't forget to check your equalizer if you're suddenly hearing way too much of certain frequency.
