Is your favorite guitar solo not as crisp as you’d like? Does the singer seem muffled? Are the synths sounding a bit odd? Try adjusting your Audio Quality.
The Deezer app gives you four levels of audio quality to choose from, whilst Deezer on desktop gives you three levels of audio quality to choose from. These are measured in kilobits per second; the more kilobits you have, the better your sound quality.

Note: The higher the bit rate, the more data will be used. If your mobile data package is limited, you may want to consider lowering the quality to preserve data. Higher quality streams may cause stuttering during playback if your connection speed is limited

How to change your Audio Quality
- Navigate to your profile icon at the top left hand side of your application
- Select the Settings cog icon at the top right hand side of your application
- Select the Music section
- Select Choose audio quality

Select a streaming option from Mobile data, WiFi or Google Cast
Note: Each streaming option can be set to a different audio quality
Select one of the three audio quality options: Standard (129 kbps), High Quality (HQ) (320 kbps), or High Fidelity (HiFi) (1411 kbps, FLAC).

FAQ
Are there any limitations on sound quality depending on my subscription level?
No, unless you are using Deezer Free. Deezer Free users can only use Basic (64kb/s) or Standard (128kb/s) audio quality.
Can I set my Download quality?
Yes. You can choose the audio quality for your downloads by going to Settings → Offline & Data → Download quality, then selecting the quality you want: Standard, High Quality (HQ), or High Fidelity (HiFi).
You can also enable Allow downloads using mobile data if you want to download music while using mobile data.
