Voice commands for Deezer on Amazon Alexa
Remember: always start your commands with “Alexa” and, if Deezer is not your default music service, end with “on Deezer”. See how to set Deezer as your default music service here.
Note: US customers, you cannot set Deezer as the default music service at this time. You must add "on Deezer" at the end of all your voice commands.
Here is a list of example phrases you can say to your Amazon Alexa device to play music:
“Alexa, play some music on Deezer.”
“Alexa, play Rock music.”
“Alexa, play some Jazz.”
If you want to listen to a specific artist, song, album, or playlist, say:
“Alexa, play Rihanna.”
“Alexa, play Shape of You by Ed Sheeran.”
“Alexa, play DAMN. by Kendrick Lamar.”
“Alexa, play the Chill Hits playlist.”
You can ask Alexa to do a lot more, like tell you what song is playing, skip to the next track, and change the volume level. Just say:
“Alexa, what’s playing?”
“Alexa, what artist is playing?”
“Alexa, next song.”
“Alexa, stop the music.”
“Alexa, set volume to 5.”
