Use Apple ID With Deezer

Apple ID offers new and existing Deezer users an easier way to sign in to Deezer. The steps to sign in differ depending on whether you're an existing user or new user.

How to create a new Deezer account with your Apple ID

To create a new Deezer account using your Apple ID, follow these steps:

  1. From the Welcome page of the Deezer app, select Apple AppleLogo.svg

    You will be asked if you want to create an account using your Apple ID

  2. Select whether you want to Share my email or Hide my email
  3. Select Continue
  4. Enter your age and username
  5. Select I AGREE

Note: You can only link your Deezer account to your Apple ID sign-in details using the Deezer iOS app

Note: New accounts are automatically registered as Deezer Free accounts. From the Premium tab, you can see what offers are available

How to find your Apple private relay email

If you've opted to hide your email, Apple will generate a unique email called a private relay email (ex: <unique-alphanumeric-string>@privaterelay.appleid.com).You'll need to know your private relay email in order to reset your password or contact Deezer Support.

You can access your Apple private relay email in your iOS device settings following these steps:

  1. Go to Apple ID
  2. Select Password & Security
  3. Select Apple ID Logins
  4. Select Deezer

Alternatively, you can find this email address on deezer.com with these steps:

  1. Go to your profile Profile.png
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Within the My information tab your email address will appear under Log in

How to use your Apple ID to log in to your existing account

Existing Deezer users can link their Deezer account to their Apple ID. If you opt to use this method of signing in, it will become an additional way of signing in to your account. You'll still be able to log in to different devices with the email and password you used to create your Deezer account.

  1. From the Deezer Login page, select Apple AppleLogo.svg

    You will be asked if you want to sign in with your Apple ID

  2. Select Continue

Note: If no match is found, you will be asked to create a new account. If you do not wish to create a new account, please make sure to change the email on your Deezer account to match your Apple ID

How to sign in to Deezer on other devices when Apple ID is enabled

If your account was created using your Apple ID after June 2020, then you will need to create a Deezer password in order to log in on other devices, such as Amazon Alexa. You can reset your password here.

If you've chosen to Hide my email, you will also need to make sure email forwarding is enabled in order to receive the password reset email.

Note: You'll need to enter the email you used to register your account. If you opted to hide your email during the registration process, you'll need to enter the relay email

Tip: If you created your Deezer account before June 2020, you can still use your previous Deezer login credentials to sign in on other devices, such as Amazon Alexa or Google Home

You can also link or unlink your Apple ID by going to Share settings from inside the Deezer app with these steps:

  1. Go to Settings Settings.png
  2. Select Account management AccountManagement.svg
  3. Select Manage my account
  4. Select Link your Apple ID account
  5. Select Continue
