Customize Your Deezer App

Love the Deezer app but want to give it your personal touch? Interface customization is now available on your app, ready to light up your life!

Who can use it?

Customization is available to all users, regardless of subscription status. You can use it on iOS and Android - so get creative!

What customization is available?

Deezer offers three different types of customization for your application.

App Icon

Want a fresh new feel? You can now customize your Deezer app icon. We have 13 different layouts to choose from, and it is simple to change:

  1. Go to your profile icon at the top left hand side of your application
  2. Select the Settings cog icon at the top right hand side of your application
  3. Under Preferences, select Display
  4. Under Appearance, select App icon
  5. A new screen will appear, allowing you to select your choice of icon customization|
  6. Once chosen, select Save

Note: You may need to restart the app before your customization changes take effect

 

App Theme

You can also change the color theme of your app, bringing a new set of colors and themes to match your vibe:

  1. Go to your profile icon at the top left hand side of your application
  2. Select the Settings cog icon at the top right hand side of your application
  3. Under Preferences, select Display
  4. Under Appearance, select App theme and color
  5. A new screen will appear, allowing you to select your choice of color and theme
  6. Select Color to change the color of your application (you have 10 options on light theme, and 10 options on dark theme)
  7. Select Theme to switch between Default (your device default setting), Light or Dark theme
  8. Once chosen, select Save

Note: You may need to restart the app before your customization changes take effect

 

Theme Stickers

To customize your playlist with stickers:

  1. Go to Favorites
  2. Select Playlists or select the playlist you want to edit
  3. In the top right hand corner of your application, select the ellipsis (...) icon
  4. Select Edit playlist
  5. On the cover image, select Create a cover
  6. A plain cover image will appear, with the options to change Color, Background, Text and Stickers
  7. Customize your cover to your desired effect and select Stickers to add when ready
  8. Select a sticker to add to your cover image - you should move it in your chosen position as you won't be able to move it again if another sticker is selected
  9. Once happy with your customization, select Save
  10. You will now see your new cover image!
