What is DAZN?
DAZN is a streaming service that provides live sports events to customers. DAZN have partnered with Deezer to offer Deezer users the chance to combine music and live sports together for an exclusive monthly fee.
What is Deezer Premium?
With Deezer Premium you can listen to all your music offline and create playlists, without the hassle of adverts. You can even identify tracks, sing along to your favorite songs and play music quizzes with other users with built-in features like SongCatcher, Lyrics and Music Quizzes. All of these features are available to you, where you can experience it all with HiFi sound!
How to activate your offer
Note: This offer is only eligible for users in France, and current paid subscribers, including those on Premium, Duo and Family - so long as they are the main account holder.
On Deezer iOS/Android App
Within the Deezer application, an offer to sign up to DAZN streaming services will appear. When selected on iOS or Android, you will be taken to a promotional page where you can select Subscribe now to continue. Doing this will subscribe to the service using your Apple Pay/Google Play billing details.
Once you have completed this step, you will receive two emails - one to confirm your chosen payment method and one to confirm your subscription to DAZN with a link to a landing page where you will need to activate your offer - select this, enter your email address and create an account on DAZN to continue. Once you have done this, you will be able to start streaming sports!
On the web
To access this offer on the Deezer webpage, select your Deezer profile icon and click Partners' offers followed by Subscribe to DAZN where you will be directed toward the promotional page to subscribe.
To continue the process, enter your payment details and select Activate. You will be sent a link via email which directs you to the DAZN account creation page where you will need to enter your personal information, after which you will be able to start streaming!
Note: If your profile or account sits within an existing Family or Duo account, you will not be able to benefit from this offer - only admin accounts can sign up.
Note: Deezer subscriptions and DAZN subscription dates are not correlated, therefore both payment methods can be different (e.g. you can pay for Deezer via Google Play billing, and DAZN via credit card on the web) and payment cycles (when the payment is taken from your account) can be different. You will see two separate transactions for the services, one from Deezer and one from DAZN.
How to cancel your subscription
To reiterate, the Deezer subscription and the DAZN subscription are not correlated - they are two separate subscriptions which are combined together. Therefore, if you wish to cancel one of them, there are certain conditions to be aware of.
If you are planning on cancelling your Deezer subscription via your payment method of Android or credit card via webpage, your DAZN subscription will automatically be cancelled as well.
Warning: If you have signed up via iOS on Apple billing, your DAZN subscription will still be active and therefore chargeable monthly, and you will need to cancel the DAZN subscription separately. Cancellation is possible from any platform (Android, iOS and webpage)
If you are planning on cancelling your DAZN subscription (but not Deezer), you can do so without cancelling your Deezer subscription - this will still remain active and if you wish to cancel Deezer, you will need to go through the normal channels outlined in [link] article. Cancellation is possible from any platform (Android, iOS and webpage).
To cancel your DAZN subscription:
Select Manage my subscription which you can find within Settings in the Deezer app - you will see your active DAZN subscription listed. To cancel, click on the active subscription and select Cancel. The subscription will end at the end of the current billing cycle.
Re-subscription terms
If you have taken up the Deezer and DAZN subscription offer before and have cancelled at any point, and you wish to resubscribe you will not be eligible for the sign up offer, but will be eligible for the monthly repeat customer subscription.
It is possible to resubscribe at any time, using the same method of payment - iOS Apple billing, Google Play billing or credit card billing. The sign-up and activation process is the same as the initial sign-up process - once you have subscribed via Partners' offers you will be sent an activation link via email where you need to create or log in to an existing DAZN account.
