Chippu, a digital platform that simplifies credit top-ups and bill payments, now offers the option to include Deezer Premium as a benefit.

How does it work?
See how easy it is to enjoy Deezer Premium:
- Register or log in on the Chippu website or via the app
- In the product showcase that Chippu provides, look for the Deezer offer
- Follow the step-by-step instructions (described below) and complete the purchase order

You will receive an email with the subscription confirmation and a link to activate your Deezer Premium
- Click the link, create your Deezer account or link an existing account
- Start listening to your favourite music on your mobile, computer, or any compatible device
Remember that if you already have an active Deezer subscription, it is important to cancel it first before linking to the Chippu benefit.
Note: If you do not receive the link to activate your offer, you can use the link available in your purchase list when selecting the Deezer product
How to subscribe?
Subscribing to the Deezer benefit through Chippu is simple and available to any platform user.
There are 3 acquisition journeys for Deezer, depending on whether you are not registered with Chippu, registered but not logged in, or logged into your Chippu account and have already used the offer.
User not registered with Chippu:
- Download the app or access the website www.chippu.com
- Click the entry button where the Deezer offer appears
- Open the Deezer product page on Chippu (benefits, price, plans)
- Choose the plan and click “Subscribe now”
- Click “Continue to payment”
- The login screen opens, click “Register now”
- Complete the registration and accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Terms
- On the next payment method screen, click “New Credit Card”
- Enter payment details and click “Continue to Review”
- Click “Confirm Purchase”

How to cancel your Deezer subscription?
You can end your Deezer subscription at any time, as there is no minimum subscription period. But if you are cancelling your subscription due to a technical issue, why not talk to customer service or check the frequently asked questions, which might help you overcome this problem?
To manage your Deezer subscription, in the “My Wallet” section of Chippu, you can check the current Deezer subscription amount, when the next charge will occur, and have the option to cancel the subscription.
To cancel your Deezer subscription, just follow these steps:
- Click the “Cancel” button

Confirm the cancellation, and the date until which the plan remains active will be indicated

Subscription status will show as Cancelled

You will receive a confirmation email about the cancellation with the possibility to renew the subscription if you wish to return

Is there a minimum contract period for Deezer Premium?

How do I activate my Deezer?
After choosing your plan and completing the Deezer Premium acquisition journey, you will receive an email with an activation link. Follow the instructions to create or connect your Deezer account and enjoy the best music.
I have an active Deezer Premium, but the app still shows Deezer Free?
You may have registered your Deezer Premium via Chippu with a different email. We suggest trying to connect in the Deezer app with another alternative email you might have. If the problem persists, we suggest contacting customer support.
In this case, you should share the following information:
- Email registered with Chippu
- Email registered with Deezer
- CPF and phone number with (DDD) registered with Chippu
- Proof of Deezer Premium acquisition (screenshot showing the Deezer benefit)
What if I delete my Chippu account?
You will continue to have access to Deezer Premium until the end of the paid period. After that, access will be deactivated.
I have no access to Deezer Premium?
This may be happening if you connected to another Deezer account or, for example, if there was a delay in the monthly payment. You can check the status of your subscription in “My Wallet” in the Chippu app or website. Please note that provisioning of the Deezer Premium service is the responsibility of Chippu, so we recommend contacting Chippu support.
I already have a Deezer Premium account. How do I link my Premium benefit through Chippu?
In this case, you will first need to cancel the Deezer Premium subscription you have directly with Deezer, then, when your account is free, you can activate the Chippu offer by following the steps mentioned above.
Do I need to change any details in my Deezer account when switching to the Chippu offer?
No, you can use your existing Deezer account. However, when your previous subscription ends, you will need to activate the new offer through Chippu to continue enjoying Deezer without interruptions.
How can I update my email or other details in my Deezer account?
To update your email or other account information, log in to your Deezer account, go to the settings section, and make the necessary changes. If you have difficulties, visit the Deezer Help Centre for support. If you do not have access to the existing email on the Deezer account, you will need to contact our Customer Service.
Can I use Deezer on multiple devices?
Yes! With your Deezer subscription, you can listen to music on multiple devices, including smartphones, tablets, and computers, ensuring you enjoy your music wherever you are.
I am changing my mobile number, what should I do?
If you use your phone number to connect to your Deezer account, you should update the number via the Deezer app or, if you have difficulties, through our Customer Service.
Can I find other offers besides Deezer Premium?
Unfortunately, currently, the only option available is Deezer Premium.
What audio qualities are available on Deezer Premium through the Chippu plan?
Deezer Premium offers two audio quality settings to suit your preferences and connection:
- Standard Quality: MP3 128 kbps
- High Quality (“Best”): MP3 320 kbps
- High Fidelity (HiFi): FLAC 16-bit / 44.1 kHz (~1411 kbps), preserving all the details of the original recording.

Do I need to download the Deezer app?
You do not need to download the app if you decide to only listen via your computer browser at www.deezer.com. For mobile devices, to enjoy all functionalities and have the best experience, we recommend downloading the Deezer app from the official Google Play Store and Apple Store. We also have a desktop app available for Windows and Mac systems.
Can I listen to music offline?
Yes! Deezer, through the desktop and mobile apps, allows you to download playlists and albums you have marked as favourites to listen offline, provided you have downloaded the content to your device. More details in our article Listening to Deezer offline
Can I transfer my favourites between my current music streaming app and Deezer?
Deezer uses a third-party service called “Tune My Music” to transfer content between your old streaming app and Deezer. Just check the list of apps supported by “Tune My Music” to see if your service is there - Transfer music to Deezer from another service
I would like to connect to third-party apps like Sonos, Apple Watch or Alexa with my Deezer Premium account. Is it possible?
Yes, you can use your Deezer Premium subscription on all devices compatible with Deezer. You can find more information HERE
I am having problems with the Deezer app?
If you are experiencing problems with the Deezer app, try updating the app, checking your internet connection or restarting your device. If problems persist, visit the Deezer Help Centre for more support.
How do I cancel my Deezer subscription?
If you wish to cancel your Deezer Premium subscription, you need to go to the Chippu app or website, click on “My Wallet” and in the Deezer product, you will have the option to cancel the service.
I want to subscribe to a Duo or Family plan, what should I do?
Since only Deezer Premium is available through Chippu, you would need to cancel your current subscription on the Chippu website or app, wait until your account becomes free, and then you can subscribe to the plan that best suits you directly with Deezer via our app or website www.deezer.com.
