There are a number of different reasons why you might be experiencing issues logging in. First and foremost, and especially if you have multiple accounts, ensure that you are entering the correct details for the email you are using to log in.
Tip: On the app, select the eye icon next to the password field to make sure you haven't made a typo
If you're still experiencing issues, check out the solutions to some common issues below:
Whether you've forgotten your email, your password or both you can find your account and reset your password with these steps:
- Go to our password reset form
- Enter your email address. If you have multiple email accounts and are unsure which is the one linked to your Deezer account, enter all of your email addresses
You will receive a password reset email from Deezer
- Select the link within the email to reset your password
Note: When your password is successfully updated, you will see a message on the screen
If you do not receive an email, please refresh your inbox and check your spam and junk folders. While it can take up to 5 minutes to receive the email, in some exceptional cases it can take up to 30 minutes.
Note: Password reset links expire after an hour for security reasons
If you see "Connection to Deezer.com failed" or "Deezer is offline" when using Deezer, check your connection. If you are using mobile data, try switching to WiFi. Mobile and tablet users should also check their device settings and ensure flight mode is off.
If your account looks different (e.g. you can't find your playlists, favorite tracks or podcasts), it's possible you've logged in to a second account created with a different email address.
If you have recently upgraded, you'll need to check the payment has been completed and that your login details are correct.
In select countries, some users may be able to log in with their mobile number. If you are having trouble logging in with your mobile number, ask the Deezer Community for help.
